The goat leather is sourced from goats that live in the high mountains of Central Asia. Although highly supple, flexible and light, it is also very tough. This is why although there may be blemishes or imperfections on the surface that is unique to the leather, the finish is one of simplicity, with no colouring or backing cloth added.

Inside the cover there is an attached pen holder. This is a small innovation to ensure that there is no unevenness when you write. To insert a pen, simply pull up the holder and slide it in.

Tanned leather (Image above, right) gives you the added enjoyment of watching the cover change in character over time. Enveloping your MD Notebook, this cover will change to an amber colour, gaining depth and character together with the stories you fill it with.
